Welcome

Empowering the People of Hawaii to Build a Sustainable Future

About us

Celebrating Hawaii’s Environment and Heritage

Our mission is to create a compassionate and environmentally conscious society that honors the cultural heritage of all communities in Hawaii.

What’s New

What’s New: Hawaii Department of Agriculture awarded us a SCBGP to propagate and promote the 13 Hawaiian varieties of ‘awa!

What’s New: We won a Lots Of Compassion grant from Mrs Meyers Clean Day and Kids Gardening! With the award, we will transform a vacant lot into a demonstration garden that not only provides culturally relevant food for the community, preserves disease-resistant coconut varieties, but also shows how fruits and vegetables can be grown in backyards to produce extra income!

What’s New: We are now partnered to tissue culture and promote disease resistant and low-bearing coconuts!

What’s New: NRCS has funded us to create an agroforestry planting!
